The Script Showcase

The Script Showcase is an International script and writers competition.

Since 2016, we awarded 107 winners and selected an additional 387 authors.

The Great

The Great, a gleefully garish new series from The Favourite writer.

Created by Oscar nominee Tony McNamara, a retelling of Catherine the Great extends the film’s sharp, anachronistic absurdity into a patchy 10-hour series.

The Irishman

Tenet

Washington and Pattinson said the screenplay was kept so secretive that they were only permitted to read it once while locked in a room.

Little Women

Little Women . PR provided

Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women,” which she wrote and directed for Sony Pictures, is one of the great film achievements of the year. To give her film an epic scope — which it has — Gerwig drew from Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, Alcott’s life and letters, and her own (seamlessly incorporated) original material.

Knives Out

Rian Johnson’s Knives Out is a cinematic tribute to Agatha Christie that deftly updates the classic all-star whodunit.

Marriage Story

Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story is a contemplation of love and an earnest exploration of how to move on when a relationship ends. It’s also one of the best screenplays of the year, if not the decade, with lots of valuable lessons for screenwriters and filmmakers everywhere.

Find a quiet place, use a humble pen.
